Beta Alanine is a white crystalline powder, slightly sweet, dissolved in water, slightly soluble in methan ol and ethanol, insoluble in ether and aceton.

 

Beta-alanine is produced as a free-form supplement and is found in many pre-workout and in-workout supplements. Beta-alanine increases the concentration of carnosine in muscles. Carnosine scavenges reactive oxygen species and acts as an effective buffer against fatigue toxins in working muscles. Reducing the production of fatigue toxins allows the muscles to perform more reps, more sets, and more work before fatigue.
